In 1996, after seven years in the banking industry, Theresa opened the Money Concepts Russell office. She is an honours graduate of Kemptville College where she majored in Animal Science and Economics. Theresa obtained the Certified Investment Manager (CIM) designation in 1995, followed by her Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation in 1997. In addition to her investment background she also obtained her life, accident and sickness insurance license in 1996. Theresa also received her Elder Planning Councellor (EPC) in 2004.

Theresa and her husband Gerry have a son, Jonathan, and a daughter, Cynthia. Theresa is an active member of the community where she is the immediate Past President of The Russell Chamber of Commerce, the Past President of the Russell Agricultural Society, member of the finance committee for the Winchester Hospital Foundation as well as a broom ball coach for her daughter. In her spare time she enjoys golfing, curling, playing the guitar and watching her son play hockey.

Theresa is a firm believer that knowledge is power. Theresa will search through reams of information to help her Clients make informed decisions on the best ways to make their financial dreams a reality.

Cynthia Wever

Cynthia joined Money Concepts permanently in April 2009. Cynthia worked summers since 2005 at an area financial institution. In addition, she also worked part-time at Money Concepts. Cynthia is a graduate of La Cité Collégiale where she majored in Financial Services.

In 2009, Cynthia obtained her Mutual Funds license. In her spare time she enjoys a varied array of sports including broomball, ball hockey and soccer. She is also actively involved with the Russell Agricultural Society and has been a director and book keeper since 2007. Cynthia believes that people should take the time to prepare their financial futures. Cynthia is fluently bilingual in both French and English and is looking forward to helping people obtain their financial goals.

Cynthia shares her time between the Vankleek Hill and Russell Offices.

Pierre joined Money Concepts/ Investia Financial Services Inc. in May 2011 after working with two of the largest financial institutions since 1989 in several different capacities, most recently as an Investment Advisor and a Financial Planner. As a trusted and experienced Account Executive and Financial Planner, he specialized in working with busy individuals who struggle to find time to adequately plan for their future. He develops custom-tailored, tax-efficient investment solutions to meet his clients’ wealth goals and provide them with long term financial peace of mind.

Pierre prides himself in maintaining a high degree of knowledge to better serve his clients and has taken many investment-related courses over the years. In addition to the Personal Financial Planning (PFP) designation obtained in 1999 as well as the Canadian Securities Course taken in 2007, he also obtained his life license in 2007.

Pierre resides in Embrun with his spouse Joyce and their three children and has been active in the community by coaching baseball and acting as President of a local bowling league. In his spare time, Pierre enjoys softball, bowling and hockey as well as travelling with his family.

Joyce joined the Money Concepts team in March 2007 and brings with her a wealth of experience with over 16 years in the banking industry.

In her most recent capacity as an Account Manager for a major financial institution over the past 5 years, Joyce has always maintained a high level of professionalism and customer service with her customer-first approach.

Joyce resides in Embrun with her spouse Pierre and their 3 children and they are proud to be a part of the Prescott-Russell community. In her spare time, Joyce enjoys bowling, badminton and softball.

Joined the Money Concepts team in August 2011. She has been working in the financial service industry since 1974.

Most of her career was with a major financial institution where she enjoyed helping clients acquire their dream homes and financial success.

She resides on a small hobby farm with her mother where she enjoys taking care of her many dogs, cats and horses. In her spare time, she likes to garden, swim, build and renovate.
